DMM EXPO Private Limited ships bulk turmeric and spice products internationally. Delivery is governed by the Incoterms® 2020 rule agreed in each sale contract.

Incoterms 2020 and risk transfer

We typically supply on FOB, CFR or CIF terms, loading from Mundra Port (Gujarat) and Nhava Sheva – JNPT (Maharashtra). Risk and responsibility transfer from DMM EXPO to the buyer at the point defined by the agreed Incoterm 2020 rule. Under CIF, we arrange carriage and the agreed minimum cargo insurance to the named destination port; under FOB/CFR, insurance is the buyer's responsibility as applicable.

Order sizes and lead times

Minimum order: 1 MT (trial) / 5 MT (regular), in 20FCL and 40FCL container loads.

Lead time: indicative at quotation and confirmed on order; actual timelines depend on grade, quantity, processing, crop availability and vessel schedules. Dispatch timelines are confirmed in the quotation or sale contract.

Export documentation

Each shipment is dispatched with the agreed international trade documents, which may include: commercial invoice and packing list; bill of lading; certificate of origin; lot-wise Certificate of Analysis (COA); phytosanitary certificate; fumigation certificate; insurance certificate (CIF); and any buyer-specific or destination-market documents agreed in the contract.

Buyer responsibilities

Unless the agreed Incoterm states otherwise, the buyer is responsible for import duties, taxes and customs clearance in the destination country; import permits, product registrations and regulatory/labelling compliance; and onward delivery from the destination port.

Delays and force majeure

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including port congestion, vessel delays, weather, crop failure, strikes, war, sanctions, or changes in export/import regulations. We will keep you informed and act in good faith to minimise impact.
